The Commonwealth Government will fund Employers for all New Staff enrolled in a Traineeship, depending on the Certificate Level being completed. These staff must not have any formal qualifications (Certificate III or above, this includes completed Apprenticeships, Degrees and Diplomas).
The Commonwealth Government will also fund Employers, for any Traineeship with 2 year durations or longer, regardless of how long staff have been employed. Traineeship durations vary, effecting funding for Existing Staff.
These staff must not have any formal qualifications.
Some State Governments will grant a Payroll Tax exemption/rebate to companies that have New Staff and New Qualified Staff enrolled in Traineeships. The rules vary in each State.
Some State Governments will grant a Workcover exemption to companies that have New Staff and New Qualified Staff enrolled in Traineeships.
Trainees must be employed a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Qualifications availalble to attract Government Incentives with TMA are:
FNS30107 Certificate III in Financial Services
FNS40107 Certificate IV in Financial Services
FNS40804 Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking)
FNS50504 Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) - VIC ONLY
FNS50804 Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) - VIC ONLY

Eg: For staff that work in Superannuation, your Certificate IV in Financial Services will include ASIC Training registered "Provide Advice in Superannuation".
