News circulating yesterday that banks may even reduce rates due to the easing of the cost of funds. With a painful budget next month for middle class families, we at least have some good news.

    Brokers will become advisors: Aussie

    The new regulation will force mortgage brokers to become financial advisers, Aussie’s CEO has claimed. Speaking to The Adviser, the brokerage’s chief executive Stephen Porges said brokers will have to do a lot more than sell mortgages under the new National Consumer Credit Protection Act.

    TMA students have saved almost $1.5million in 18 months

    In the 18 months of having a Gov't subsidised contract in Vic, TMA students have saved almost $1.5million in tuition fees. We now have a similar contract in NSW for 2011/12 and are looking to bring many new faces into our great financial services industry.
